Job description:

We are currently seeking to recruit a motivated self-starting individual.

The selected candidate will be required to report to the Office Manager and assist the sales team on a day to day basis with the view to lead into a successful career in sales.

The successful candidate will be joining an experienced team in Allerton, Liverpool. The business requires a proactive and motivated individual to assist with the following duties:

  • Filing
  • Answering incoming calls in a polite manner
  • Dealing with incoming and outgoing mail
  • E mailing
  • Photocopying
  • Binding documents
  • Providing refreshments for staff and visitors
  • Helping on the front desk
  • Using various search engines to aid the sales team

  • Trustworthy and reliable
  • Courteous and pleasant manner
  • Flexible

 

Qualifications Required:

  • A minimum of GCSE grades D or Grade 3 OR Level 1 in English and Maths.

 

Skills Required:

The successful candidate must have/be:

  • Enthusiastic and willing to develop new skills
  • Ability to multitask
  • Able to work independently and well within a team
  • Able to work under pressure and manage a busy workload
  • An articulate communicator
  • Proficiency in MS packages would be an advantage

 

Training to be Provided:

The Business Administration Level 2 apprenticeship involves attending College for at least half a day per week for tuition and guided study to gain the Level 2 NVQ Diploma in Business Administration.

The apprentice will also be visited every 8 weeks for workplace assessment/review. There will also be in-house training in the Practice.

Working Week:

35 hours per week

Office hours: 9am to 5pm – Monday to Friday

Expected Duration: 

12 - 15 months

Future Prospects:

We intend to create a full time permanent role for the successful candidate when they finish their apprenticeship.

Important Information:

Training on the Apprenticeships Programme for 16 to 18 year olds is a priority and fully-funded by the Government for non-levy paying employers. Training for Apprenticeships for those over this age is part funded, with employers expected to make a part or full contribution.
