Job description:

We have an opportunity for the right candidate to develop to act as the first point of call for the MLCSU People Development team ensuring that all queries are dealt with in a timely, effective and professional manner, escalating issues as required to the relevant member of the People Team.

To provide a full range administrative support to the People Development team ensuring the provision of an efficient and effective service to CSU and CCG staff. This includes answering telephone calls and email queries, data entry, production of user guides and documents, photocopying, collating and filing.

As the People Development Administrator, you will be required to develop a good understanding of the learning management system (LMS) in order to support users.

To provide administrative support on statutory and mandatory training and compliance reporting to the People Development Co-ordinator.

To ensure the Learning CSU email inbox is managed in line with the relevant standards and KPI.

Learning Management System (LMS)

Data entry of manual training certificates onto the appropriate LMS in a timely manner to ensure monthly client statutory and mandatory compliance reports are accurate. 

To support the People Development Co-ordinator in the administration and organising of Training events.

Managing existing courses and entering course information and resources onto LMS.

Record keeping

To maintain filing systems, both on paper and computerised, ensuring compatibility of files, easy access, making maximum use of shared information, electronic filing and software packages and ensuring confidentiality of centrally stored documentation.

Entering client training needs onto the relevant system to produce training needs analysis on behalf of clients.

To provide administrative support on the PDR process and PDR reports to the People Co-ordinator.

To keep a record of any People Development funding requests to ensure a thorough record is kept of all requests including those approved, declined and postponed.

Experience of working in a busy, pressurised training environment, ability to move between different areas of work frequently in order to meet a wide variety of timescales

Qualifications Required:

  • GCSE’s grades A-C or 4-9 in English and Maths are essential plus an IT qualification
  • Level 2 qualification in Business Administration will be a distinct advantage

 

Skills Required:

Demonstrate excellent organisational skills to plan complex administrative activities. 

Ability to balance priorities and progress multiple tasks under pressure whilst working largely independently on their completion, formulating and adjusting plans as required

Advanced IT user Knowledge and Skills incl. Microsoft Office, Spreadsheets, Databases and internet/email

Ability to learn new processes and software quickly.

Able to build and maintain effective relationships and work across a wide range of contacts

Demonstrate good attention to detail

 

Training to be Provided:

Business Administration Level 3 apprenticeship.

 

Working Week:

Monday- Friday (37.5 hours per week)

Time will be given for ‘off-the-job training’ for the Business Administration course  

 

Expected Duration: 

18 Months from start of course

 

Future Prospects:

Possible permanent position within the company
