Vacancy Description:

We at Pitman Training are looking for a Business Administration to join our office in Warrington and Liverpool, We are a learning provider and we will assist you in your professional development and you will have endless opportunities to better yourself.

As a level 2 business administration apprentice you day to day duties will include, but are not limited to:

  • General office administrative duties.
  • Using Microsoft Office.
  • Writing letters.
  • Dealing with inbound and outbound calls.
  • Responding to email enquiries.
  • Photocopying and printing various documents.
  • Organise, store and file paperwork and computer-based information.
  • Create and maintain office filing systems.
  • Keep diaries and arrange appointments - scheduling and attending meetings, creating agendas and taking minutes.
  • staff and client liaison.

Qualifications Required:

You must have strong GCSE grades, but no previous experience is necessary but it would be advantageous.

 

Training to be provided:

NVQ Level 2 in Business Admin – one day per week at college plus Functional Skills in English, Maths and IT if required

 

Expected Duration:

12 months

 

Working Week:

37.5 hours per week

Monday – Friday 8:30am – 5pm

 

Future Prospects:

The prospect of a full-time role is here on successful completion of your apprenticeship programme

 

Other Important Information:

Training on the Apprenticeships Programme for 16 to 18 year olds is a priority and fully-funded by the Government for non-levy paying employers. Training for Apprenticeships for those over this age is part funded, with employers expected to make a part or full contribution.
