What to expect from the course
- Welcome to the Adobe Suite Day Course for Adults, starting this January. This course is specifically designed for beginners who have no prior experience with Adobe software. Over the course of 50 hours, you will engage in classroom lectures, hands-on workshops, and practical activities, gaining a comprehensive introduction to the Adobe Creative Suite. You will learn about the Adobe ecosystem, file management, and get an overview of the tools within the software. Throughout the course, you will work on live creative project briefs, providing you with real-world experience and practical skills.
Instruction and Independent Working
This course combines structured instruction with opportunities for independent working. You will receive guidance from experienced instructors during classroom lectures and workshops, and have the chance to apply what you've learned to live project briefs. Our specialists will be on hand to assist with any technical or creative challenges, ensuring you gain the confidence and skills needed to use Adobe software effectively.
Qualifications
Upon completion of this course, you will receive the UAL Award in Art, Design and Media Level 1. Why study with us?

Microsoft Office 365 - Free
When you become a student of the College you’ll receive full access to Microsoft Office 365. This allows you to install the software on your own computer and other devices at home, completely free of charge.
Onsite Sports Facilities/Fitness Suite
The college has excellent sports and fitness facilities at its Roscoe Street campus. Students pay a one-off membership fee for all year round usage of weekly supervised gym sessions, as well as access to a number of sporting clubs and events.
Career pathways
- After completing this course, you can progress to further study at Level 2 in areas such as Graphic Design, Digital Art and Design, or General Art and Design.

Have a keen interest in learning Adobe Creative Suite.
Be committed to attending daytime classes.
No prior experience with Adobe software is required.
Fees
If you are 16-18 years old at the start of your course, studying at The City of Liverpool College is free. If you are aged between 19-23 and don’t already hold a qualification equivalent to 5 GCSEs at grade 4 (C) or above, and you need to study at Entry or Level 1 to progress to Level 2, you won't have to pay any fees for this course.
