  • Revit training for beginners, teaching the concepts behind BIM and key Revit techniques specific to architecture and designers.
  • Autodesk Revit provides the tools you need to design, build and maintain high quality, energy efficient buildings. It supports BIM workflows, and provides comprehensive features for the entire construction project.
  • Revit Essentials training provides a thorough grounding in the application. On completion, you will be able to use Revit to take a project from conceptual through the stages of design, documentation and visualisation.

  • City of Liverpool Certificate upon successful completion of an accredited Revit training course.

What to expect from the course

Why Revit ?

Autodesk Revit is one of the most popular and interchangeable software globally that enables BIM (Building Information Modelling).

The UK government has published a BIM strategy in 2011, the UK government funded projects has to implement BIM. The UK government is looking to adopt BIM in all new housing projects. Revit is one of the main tools to enable BIM.

The industry has created new roles in the last few years to correspond to the BIM needs (BIM Manager, Revit Creator, etc).

One of the most sought-after skills to be recruited in the Construction Industry at the current climate is Revit.

The City of Liverpool college is the only college in Merseyside that offers this course.

It is a short evening course to enhance your skills whilst still working. -The course will run over 8 academic weeks, three hours a week on Thursday night of each week (17:00 – 20:00).

Duke Street campus is also home to the College’s Academy Restaurant. Often referred to by it’s customers as Liverpool’s hidden gem, the restaurant serves top class cuisine, at highly competitive prices. Food is expertly prepared by professional chef/tutors and young chefs in training and offers students a range of discounts at different times of the year.

When you become a student of the College you’ll receive full access to Microsoft Office 365. This allows you to install the software on your own computer and other devices at home, completely free of charge.

Onsite Sports Facilities/Fitness Suite

The college has excellent sports and fitness facilities at its Roscoe Street campus. Students pay a one-off membership fee for all year round usage of weekly supervised gym sessions, as well as access to a number of sporting clubs and events.

Applicants are required to have basic computing skills on entry to this course

Fees

This course is only available to learners aged 19 and over. Fees are payable by all students unless sponsored by an employer.

Fee for25/26 is 1200.00
In future years this fee may be subject to change.
