Course Details
- This is an advanced qualification that has been specifically designed for beauty therapists.
- This qualification is based on beauty therapy National Occupational Standards (NOS).
- This course is the only Level 4 qualification offered by VTCT in Micropigmentation.
- You will learn about using micropigmentation, a form of cosmetic tattooing, to create make-up effects to enhance facial features.
- This qualification allows learners to gather evidence in a realistic working environment or real working environment without the need for fee paying clients.
What to expect from the course
- This qualification has been specifically designed for the 18+ age groups, builds on existing knowledge and understanding of therapy skills and will develop an enhanced repertoire of technical skills to prepare learners for employment. Learners will have their skills assessed in a real or realistic working environment.
This qualification will require research; it includes the skills involved in providing a thorough consultation with the client to formulate a specific course of treatment, tailored to suit individual client needs, use micropigmentation techniques and manage the health, safety and security of the salon.
All units are mandatory:
Management of Health & Safety and Security in the salon.
Quality management of client care in the hair and beauty sector.
Enhance appearance using micropigmentation treatment.

Microsoft Office 365 - Free
When you become a student of the College you’ll receive full access to Microsoft Office 365. This allows you to install the software on your own computer and other devices at home, completely free of charge.
Onsite Sports Facilities/Fitness Suite
The college has excellent sports and fitness facilities at its Roscoe Street campus. Students pay a one-off membership fee for all year round usage of weekly supervised gym sessions, as well as access to a number of sporting clubs and events.

- When you have successfully completed this qualification you will be in a position to either aspire to promotion, as an advanced beauty therapist providing micropigmentation services

Entry Requirements
Entry onto this qualification must be via previous attainment of a Level 3 qualification in a relevant discipline prior to undertaking this qualification. You are required to have the knowledge, understanding and skills to enrol and successfully achieve this qualification.
Fees
This course is only available to learners aged 19 and over. Fees are payable by all students unless sponsored by an employer. You may qualify for an Advanced Learner Loan to cover the cost of your course.
