The city of Liverpool college has created the city’s first on-site construction hub, which aims to bridge the gap between training and employment in the construction industry.
This is one of 26 hubs across the country with access to the £22 million Construction Skills Fund, the purpose of which is to help train 17,000 young people to be job and site-ready by March 2020. Based at the Liverpool Waters development we are in the heart of Liverpool’s construction industry, in contact with construction businesses every day.
The Construction Hub course runs for 5 sessions and is designed to help you get work ready. You will take part in online learning, interactive workshops and hands on practical sessions. At the end of the course you will have the chance to get your CSCS card, your passport to work on a construction site, deeming you work ready.
